Travelled, grouped together, ate pizza and garlic bread, stood in line and took our seats. It was finally time for some Jason shenanigans (isn't shenanigans just an awesome word?!).
I was so happy with Jason's '2010' show. I laughed throughout as he pondered thoughts on Ireland and Australia (which we now refer to as Magicland), sex and marriage in his excellent Irish accent; what more could you ask for. Known for his outlandish stunts, '2010' served as more of a stand-up orientated show (which I actually preferred), but we weren't left out as he briefly produced two massive hands on long sticks to place on someone's head, allowing them to speak in a microphone that was attached. The sight was just hilarious.
Jason's highly energetic performance; his accent; those facial expression and that laugh combined for a superb show.
After the performance we headed for the stage door hoping to meet Jason before he left, and after only a brief few minutes, the very nice security guard informed us that he'd let Jason know that we were waiting and that he'd be out shortly. HOORAY! Jason came out and greeted us with the same happy energy seen on stage and seemed genuinely happy to talk to us. He invited us into the backstage area so we could take photos and sign things. As it was only the four of us, we were lucky enough to get a group photo, individual photos and personal signings.
Jason is a hilarious, eccentric character and joked with us for a short while, did silly poses for photos and was genuinely a nice person to talk to. He's just so lovely.
He liked my "Dickie bow."
